Lionel 2353 Santa Fe F3 Aa Diesel Locomotive Set, Nice Picture(s) and Description:
LOT DESCRIPTION: As the title says this lot consists of a LIONEL 2353 SANTA FE F3 AA DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE SET. Made in 1953 this set comes with magna-traction, interior lights and a diesel horn. It is all original including the often replaced with repros port hole lenses (all 8 are original) number boards, horns and decals.
DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION: Set is in nice shape. The colors, side stripes and decals are all bright and clear. Lettering all nice and clear. The battery compartment and frame are perfect, no damage there at all. Trucks and rollers in great shape. Typical playware rubs, nicks and scratches, set is used but not abused. There is a tiny (hardly noticeable) stress crack on the back of the one shell, I have included a close up picture of this area to show you what I mean. Again, this is a nice looking set that IMHO I would rate as in very good condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge.
WORKING CONDITION: I have tested the set and it runs and reverses perfectly. I did not test the horn, they are much too finicky to know when the will or will not work
