You are bidding on an unrestored prewar Lionel #256 Electric Locomotive that was cataloged from 1924 to 1930. This is the rubber-stamped version, w/o border, that dates from 1925-26. This locomotive is in very good condition and has no problems or damage. The original paint still has a very nice appearance, but does show a few tiny chips. The roof shows some minor touch-up. The black-painted frame has just a trace of minor surface rust evident. The trim is complete and undamaged. One coupler has been replaced. Features dual motors and operating headlights. Runs forward and reverse with a hand-operated reversing lever. Wheels are original and in good condition. Running condition. Nothing is broken or missing. Please email if you have any questions.
