Lionel 3 Car Passenger Set. 2 Pullman 6440, 1 6441 Obse Picture(s) and Description:
The 6440 Pullman Passenger car (1948-1949) is a continuation of the 2440 Pullman Passenger car manufactured in 1946 and 1947. The difference being the 6440 contains the updated magnetic couplers in place of the earlier coil couplers. When sold as a set, Lionel always included two 6440 pullman cars along with a single 6441 observation car. These sets were headed by either a 2025 or 2026 steamer. This lot consists of those three Lionel trains: 2x #6440 Pullman Passenger cars and original boxes 1x #6441 Observation Passenger car and original box They are compatable with O guage rail. These items come as is. In my estimation, they should work. They were used for a number of years in the late 1940s and early 1950s and then boxed up. Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
