Lionel 6-38150 Platinum Ghost F-3 Aa Set Picture(s) and Description:
This auction is for a Lionel 6-38150 Platinum Ghost F-3 AA Set. The clear shells replicate the demo models of the new F-3's at the 1948 Toy Fair. The Pwr unit has dual Pullmor motors, magnatraction, headlights, interior lights and magnetic coupler on nose. The engine is upgradable to TMCC. The frame, pilot andtrucksides are platinum plated This set cataloged in 1999. I want to advise this set does not have any boxes. The boxes were ruined in a basement flood when the water heater let go. However, these models are in Mint C-9 condition and never run as they were stored in display cabinets at the time and were not affected only the boxes were. These items will be separately wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a box. The instructions are included. These were protected.
