Lionel #8753 GG-1 Engine Mint Built 1977 Picture(s) and Description:

Lionel

Here is a Lionel #8753 GG-1 Engine Mint in the box but before reading any further, maybe look at all those other Lionel GG-1s that are up for sale and compare. Especially those that are titled as NEW or MINT but as you read on, it says that they were slightly ran, test ran, ran a little, shelf displayed and everything short to saying some little old lady use to own it and ran it once in her life time. That's the difference between those and this one I am selling. MINE IS 100% MINT. Never has been test ran, displayed, set on the track or even out of the box until now for photos and it still wasn't set on any track. You will not find a single mark on the wheels or rollers or anywhere else much less even a speck of dust. This is another item a selling from a 3 generation Lionel family collection that has had only one adult owner and isn't one of those that have been kicked back and forth the country a dozen times. This engine is one of the quality built ones from over 30 years ago and has the better qualities far superior over the new made in China stuff that have rubber banded wheels for traction and throw away motors (that's if they even have more than one of those in it). It has 2 long time proven quality, reliable, reputable and serviceable PullMor motors and MagnaTraction with forward, neutal and reverse. Also it is in the original box with all original documentation. The box is not what I would call prestine but it is firm, straight, solid and not crushed, wrinkled or torn anywhere but shows only some age discoloration. The panographs have never been removed from the box and are still in place in the plastic wrapping. I will ship this anywhere in the main U.S. 48s for a flat shipping charge of $15.00 which includes insurance. If the shipping is less, I will make a cash refund for the difference. If it's more, I'll eat the difference. I don't have any handling, packaging or any of those other off the wall charges, only the actual shipping cost which I will disclose to the buyer.
